Mission and Community

Study after study has confirmed that groups that try to start with a goal of community, and hope somehow to move toward a mission, almost never get there. A mission must be the organizing principle of the group. When we start with a mission, we always get the community, because we band together for a common goal, because we’ll need to care for one another in the midst of the battle of the mission.

When You Follow Jesus Everyone Hates You

This is the story of a disciple who is making disciples in a radical way among those who hate the message of the gospel. Filmed and edited by @davegrumme with the help of @pastorahsh on a Keystone Project training trip.

Disciple-Making Fuels Church Planting

Setting Movement DNA

The secret of success in this work lies in beginning at the very beginning. It is the training of the first converts which sets the type for the future. The shared connecting points of a movement could be  Vision Goals Values Identity Passion Achievement Purpose Affiliation To bring people into…

Redeeming the Language of the Church

Defining our Terms The Keystone Project philosophy promotes a major shift in the way the Church engages the lost, calling for the multiplication of Spirit-led followers of Jesus Christ who live radical kingdom lives to reach the unreached. This paradigm shift requires the development of a pattern of thinking and behavior which is, in many respects, the opposite of…
